Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. The money-back guarantee
If you upgrade to Starter, Pro, or Power and your first 100 submitted applications generate fewer than 2 recruiter replies (a response rate below 2%), email grievance@axelhired.com within 30 days of hitting your 100th submission. We will issue a full refund of the most recent billing cycle to your original payment method within 7 working days of receiving your request. We will not ask you to justify the request, fill a form, or take a call — we verify your application history from our own audit logs and process the refund directly.
“Recruiter reply” means a human reply to an application we submitted on your behalf. A rejection counts; an interview invite counts; an auto-acknowledgement (“We've received your application”) does not.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan from /dashboard/settings/billing at any time. For monthly subscribers, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you keep full access until then. Cancellation of the UPI Autopay mandate stops further debits immediately. We do not generally pro-rate the current month, but will issue a partial refund on request where the cancellation was driven by a service deficiency on our side or a documented inability to use the service for more than 50% of the cycle.
3. Credit packs
One-time application credit packs (e.g. +200 applies) are non-refundable once spent. Unused credits stay on your account indefinitely; they do not expire.
4. Failed applications
If our worker fails to submit an application due to a bug on our side (broken adapter, OTP we could not fetch, CAPTCHA we could not solve), we automatically refund the credit back to your balance. You do not need to ask. Failures from the recruiter side (closed posting, account locked at the ATS, etc.) also refund automatically.
5. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method via Razorpay. UPI refunds usually land in 24-48 hours; cards take 5-7 working days. We send a Razorpay refund confirmation email when we initiate the refund; keep an eye on your inbox.
6. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to the support email thread and we will escalate to the founder. Subject to your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — including the right under §35 to approach a District Commission at your place of residence or work — the courts at New Delhi shall have jurisdiction over any other disputes. We do our best to make this never matter.
